All this and more can be seen on the guided tour through the sprawling Veltrusy chateau park.
The man made park situated on a river island covers an area of nearly three hundred hectares. A 9 km cycling tour is an ideal way to explore the entire area. You will encounter multiple architectonic and natural attractions of the park along the way including romantic pavilions, dainty bridges and other interesting park structures. Become acquainted with the concept of a natural landscape park where the wild nature seemlessly meets the human work.

The park can be easily reached by bike from the Vltava river cycling trail that runs from Prague to Mělník. The route intersects the castle complex so you can not miss your destination. We suggest to add the park biking tour to your cycling trip.
